What can members do?

Use what you have in your hand a made a small garden. Don't waste the sunshine this season. Try growing in a small containers next to your windows if you live in an apartment.

How to grow a successful garden - From seedlings to storage- This 2019 season in New York is slow start for the plants- Season is still Holding on to cold. Today is May 21 and we were 60 degrees. Summer has started slowing

Here’s how to do it:

1. Head to your local garden store if you are not able to grow indoors. Seedlings, Soil, containers, fertilizer, mulch, fabric liner to prevent weeds if necessary.

2. Select plants that don't creep around too much

3. Use containers 12 inch deep 6 feet wide -

4. Moisten soil- place worms for aeration.

5. make sure seedlings are transplanted preferably on a rainy/humid day.

6. Water once a day- Don't over water. If on plant container is placed directly on concrete you may have to water more often.

7. Brace/Support plants against wind damage.
